The Workshop Maintenance Specialist supervises preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as prescribed by OEM manual and Engineering specifications to limit changing time-limited parts and to keep equipment in proper working order.

The Maintenance Specialist will drive the day by day maintenance activities carried-out by Contractors related to the equipment of the workshop area.

In detail the Maintenance Specialist is responsible for analyzing and maintaining the machinery and equipment at Massa workshop.

The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist will be expected to make critical decisions in a timely manner and meet safety and quality jobs for the major asset as:

- CN working machine

- CN milling machine

- CN vertical lathe

- Bending machine

- Automatic horizontal balancing machine

- Automatic tipples

The Workshop Maintenance Supervisor manages work orders with computer maintenance management system software and findings reports throughout the process of root analysis and troubleshooting process.

You will follow up preventive maintenances and troubleshooting on various types of machinery and equipment that require technical knowledge.

Work closely with the Manager in assigned area providing him with weekly metrics on performance schedules on critical repairs as well as daily updates on critical equipment.

Without forgetting the Predictive maintenance with remote acquisition and management of signals from the field both to extend the life of the equipment and to be immediately warned in case of Failures concerning HSE.

As workshop maintenance supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Performing as reference point of contact with Equipment OEM and parts vendors.

  • Supervising repair assembling and installation of components for electrical system.

  • Coordinating inspections on industrial working machine and its relevant equipment.

  • Participating in safety initiatives with HSE team.

  • Working closely with operational leader in the review of machines preparing maintenance schedules and determine the necessary spare parts levels.

  • Working with drawings schematics data sheet P&I.

  • Liaising with OEM Contractor and external vendor on equipment repair.

  • Analyzing and diagnosing cause of malfunctions failures and repetitive problems and recommend and implement proper corrective actions.

  • Preferably basic knowledge of Maximo software.

  • Guarantee compliance with regulations and continuous improvement of HSE performance.

  • Deal with emergencies unplanned problems and repairs.

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Degree in a technical field from an accredited University (Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) or a High School Diploma (Mechatronics Diploma).

  • Good knowledge of IT tools.

  • Attitude toward teamwork.

  • Self-starter.
