Were looking for enthusiastic customer-focused individuals to join our team as Seasonal Bar Waiting & Tote Staff to join our team until the end of February 2026. You must be over the age of 18 to apply for this position.

These exciting and varied roles offer the chance to work in a lively fast-paced hospitality environment ensuring our guests enjoy the very best experience during the festive season.

Please note this role will require working Saturdays and weekends.

About the Role

Youll play a key part in delivering excellent service across our bars restaurant areas and Tote (betting) facilities. Duties may include:

Bar & Waiting Responsibilities:

• Serve customers in a friendly professional and efficient manner at all times.
• Advise guests on available products and promotions ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Set up and maintain bars tables and service areas with appropriate stock glassware and condiments.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately using the tills and POS systems.
• Serve beverages including wines and spirits in accordance with licensing laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all work and public areas following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Support with stock rotation waste recording and basic cleaning duties before during and after service.
• Handle cash and card payments securely and accurately.

Tote (Betting) Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer betting transactions in line with company policy and Gambling Commission regulations.
• Gain and maintain an understanding of betting types minimum spends and payout procedures.
• Set up and operate Tote terminals ensuring cash and systems balance.
• Clarify bets with customers prior to confirmation (bets cannot be rectified after races).
• Follow all procedures relating to safeguarding including Challenge 21 and antimoney laundering regulations.
• Reconcile and report all cash transactions accurately.
• Ensure a professional friendly and responsible betting environment for all guests.

Previous bar waiting or cash-handling experience is desirable but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
