This position will be responsible for growing top line sales profit and market share for district customer(s) within an assigned territory. This position will also be responsible for the long-term strategic planning development and implementation of business plans to expand and develop new business opportunities. Success will be achieved by developing & capitalizing on relationships with customers/buying teams and developing and implementing pricing/promotional programs to help drive sales for customers.
This position will also work with other cross functional teams which may include Enterprise Roofing Solutions Team Technical and Marketing. Additional responsibilities include P&L analysis budget management key negotiations and CRM utilization
These candidates will support roof coating sales through Sherwin Williams Uniflex and Kool Seal brands through PSG stores. Candidate is responsible for territory coverage.
P&L/TIS Responsibility for assigned accounts.
Develop strategies to increase market share within fluid applied coating market
Serve as the go-to person for these identified accounts in district as single point of contact.
Develop leads for roofing contractors through existing government commercial & residential facilities building maintenance accounts
Develop a roof patch and repair maintenance program for existing facilities accounts
Negotiating Pricing with the assigned accounts with Enterprise RAM guidance
Development and maintaining of customer communications number of facilities and locations.
Development and maintenance of customer pricing and customer coatings specifications (if applicable).
Sales and Profit Management:
This position will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while seeking new opportunities for sustainable growth.
Focus shall be on expanding and supporting the Uniflex and Kool Seal brands through territory region
Authorized Contractor Trainings for the Region.
Represent the Uniflex and Kool Seal brands at selected PSG ProShows Industry and Regional Trade Shows and other associated events.
Engage customer and project opportunities perform site observations perform in person Sales Calls
Responsible for acerated growth for fluid applied market around initial volume $1-$2 million $40 mil
Organization and Communication skills with internal Sherwin leadership and filed personnel as well as roofing contractors and end user client representatives
Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in business field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum 5 years of relevant Work Experience in roofing or related field.
Proven track record of sales success required.
This position also requires effective communication & problem solving skills strong time management presentation and leadership skills.
Prior experience with financial reports & P&L analysis.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
Preferred:
Previous experience in the buildings materials industry (specifically the 1-step roofing wholesale segment) and managing an independent sales organization will be considered a plus.
Prior knowledge or training on Uniflex or other fluid applied roofing solution
