Were looking for a Lead Early Childhood Toddler Teacher for our 1-2 year old class at our Mt City location. This is a fulltime position. We are open M-F 7a-530p. No evening or weekend work for a wonderful work/life balance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels
• Document learning experience through displays and pictures
• Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
• Maintains a safe comforting and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
• Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
• Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding fast-paced environment
• Plans supervises and implements all/part of the program in accordance with the philosophy policies and procedures of DISCOVERY KIDZONE SCHOOLS.
• Is responsible for developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans rotation plans staff communication regarding individual plans & rotation and to post plans (or assure plans are posted) one week in advance for parents and staff.
• Guides program Teachers and staff in maintaining facility supplies and materials to reduce waste/breakage/misuse. etc

An ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a teacher in a childcare center
• An AA in Early Childhood Education is preferred or a Level 3 on the MTECP Registry
• Some leadership training and experience
• Clear fingerprints for FBI DOJ and child abuse.

Base pay is determined by education and experience with the potential to earn performance bonuses of up to an additional $2 per hour as part of the compensation package.
