ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Job Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment within Lubrizols manufacturing plants in Brazil (Belford Roxo - RJ and Paulínia - SP). This includes supporting plant operations troubleshooting electrical issues ensuring compliance with safety standards and leading projects to upgrade or install new equipment.
Accountabilities

Design develop and implement electrical systems in manufacturing environments;

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical equipment and system failures;

Collaborate with maintenance operations and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency;

Manage projects related to electrical upgrades new installations and process improvements;

Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and company policies;

Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings;

Assist in preparing budgets schedules and cost estimates for electrical projects;

Support continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for equipment failures;

Based in Belford Roxo with availability to travel 20% of the time to Paulinia Plant.

Education / Skills

Communication skill;

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;

Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (motors controls PLCs etc.);

Experience with power distribution instrumentation and automation systems;

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;

Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects;

Knowledge on with hazardous area classification NR 10 NBR 14136 and NBR 54

Advance level English (desired)

Preferred Skill

Experience with hazardous area classification and electrical codes (NEC NFPA etc.);

Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation;

Project management experience;

5-10 years of relevant experience preferably in chemical or manufacturing environments.
