Production Leader

Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Leader for our client in Linden NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 8AM - 4:30PM
• Monday - Friday
• Must be able to work Sundays as needed
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $20 / hour

Job Summary:

The Production Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations ensuring that tasks are completed accurately efficiently and safely. This position requires hands-on leadership to guide a team manage order fulfillment and maintain productivity standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production and warehouse activities
• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely order fulfillment
• Monitor workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy standards
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts pallet jacks reach trucks and order pickers
• Train and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance goals
• Enforce safety regulations and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Identify and resolve operational issues or emergencies quickly and effectively
• Track inventory and production data using handheld scanners or basic computer systems
• Communicate clearly with management and team members regarding progress challenges and needs
• Support general warehouse operations as required

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience; supervisory or lead experience preferred
• Forklift certification and at least 2 years of forklift operating experience required
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. stand and move throughout the shift
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
