Context

M&G is making material investments in its digital and data capabilities to improve customer experience streamline processes improve controls and embed data in the way we operate.

We are ramping up a Group-wide data transformation programme to drive material improvements in complex cross-functional processes operating across Asset Management Life insurance and Finance through a better access to data. The programme aims to implement high-impact data-driven use cases in subsequent time-boxed waves. Each wave will enable the Group to progressively upgrade data foundations and capabilities while enabling the re-engineering of key processes and building momentum across the organisation.

Benefits will primarily consist in data-led control improvements at first before expanding to structural efficiency gains while ensuring we build reusable data products as we progress.

We are looking to hire an accomplished Programme or Project delivery specialist who excels at orchestrating transformational data this role youll lead the technical implementation of data transformation initiatives facilitate business process re-engineering and business adoption. Your focus will be on coordinating a data delivery roadmap that combines data architecture engineering & modelling workflows with delivery frameworks ensuring these technical foundations enable process improvements and measurable business outcomes. This role combines deep technical orchestration expertise with the ability to drive meaningful business change.

The Senior Data Delivery Lead will report directly to the Group Data Transformation Director a direct report to the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Key accountabilities for this role:

• Orchestrate end-to-end data delivery initiatives coordinating technical implementation across organisational boundaries
• Develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent issues - create structure clarity and alignment across teams
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to plan and implement appropriate transformation modelling cataloguing and data reusability strategies
• Build implementation roadmaps that sequence technical deliverables alongside organisational change activities
• Establish governance structures that align data delivery teams with business process owners
• Develop frameworks to track and measure business value realisation from data-driven improvements

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience orchestrating complex data delivery programmes with demonstrable business impact
• Strong technical understanding of data architecture engineering practices and delivery frameworks
• Track record of successfully implementing cross-functional data initiatives
• Experience in aligning technical delivery with business process requirements
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for diverse stakeholders
• Background in measuring business value realisation for data transformation initiatives
