Essential Functions / Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the Maintenance Technicians setting clear expectations providing daily direction and ensuring accountability for quality and safe behavior and enforce all safety rules and procedures including PPE Lockout/Tagout and OSHA and prioritize maintenance and repair schedules to meet operational goals with minimal production implement and oversee Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures and ensure accurate and mentor maintenance staff on proper equipment operation troubleshooting and repair readiness and reliability of MRF conveyor systems motors gearboxes bearings balers and other related hands-on maintenance tasks when required including installation alignment welding and and evaluate completed work to ensure it meets company standards and safety with Department Management and Facilities to communicate maintenance status needs and progress organized workspaces and ensure proper storage of tools parts and and document OJT and safety training records for all team daily inspection sheets and assign work orders compliance with hazardous material handling and disposal as a key point of contact during OSHA inspections and safety audits related to maintenance a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement within the maintenance duties as and Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a maintenance or industrial -on experience with conveyor systems (minimum 3 years).Proficient in welding (Arc Stick Rod & MIG).Skilled in metal fabrication and mechanical systems understanding of OSHA safety standards and maintenance best ability to lead motivate and develop a team while maintaining high performance be a non-federal applicant due to equipment operation requirements.
