Job Description
Are you an experienced Class 5 driver looking for your next gig Were on the hunt for a professional proactive and safety-focused drivers to join our fast-growing team. If you love being on the road and take pride in delivering the goods (literally) this could be the perfect fit!
Delivering with Care
- Conduct pre-trip safety and temperature checks.
- Ensure safe loading unloading and secure deliveries.
- Follow efficient routes and provide on-time service.
- Complete accurate paperwork and report any issues.
Looking After Your Truck
- Perform daily checks and report maintenance needs.
- Drive safely and efficiently using equipment properly.
- Keep your truck clean and fuelled.
Great Customer Service
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
- Represent Halls with pride
Qualifications :
What youll need:
Full & clean Class 5 license
At least 3 years of solid New Zealand driving experience (bonus points for refrigerated transport!)
Proficient in reversing units coupling & uncoupling
Experience in various truck combinations B-train experience is necessary
A cool head under pressure time deadlines are part of the game
A self-motivated can-do attitude
