Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an RN Pediatric PACU to fill an opening at an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center located in Syracuse New York. The ideal candidate will provide specialized post-operative care to pediatric patients ensuring safe recovery and optimal outcomes in a dynamic academic medical center environment.

- Work Schedule: Full-time Day/Evening Shift. 8 shifts of 10 hours every 2 weeks (Day shift: 07:00-19:30 Night shift: 11:00-23:30). Includes some weekends.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensure: Current New York State RN license.
- Certification:
- BLS certification (current or able to recertify); Must not have had a professional license or certification suspended or investigated
- Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.
- Travelers will only be considered if they are experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.
- Technical Skills: EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
Key Responsibilities:
Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients monitor vital signs and recovery progress administer medications collaborate with surgical teams educate patients and families and maintain accurate documentation.
