Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Department (Evening/Night Shift)
Location: Hyannis Massachusetts 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening/Night
Schedule: 7:00 PM7:00 AM every other weekend and holiday (unpaid lunch)
Travel Rate: $2457 $2603/week
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse Emergency Departmentfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities
Deliver professional nursing care using the full nursing process maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Assess plan and coordinate patient care throughout admission stabilization and discharge or transfer.
Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills including serving as a charge nurse when required.
Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics systems for patient management and decision support.
Participate in training safety programs and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain current knowledge of emergency department protocols infection control and safety practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues and ancillary staff.
Uphold all professional and institutional standards related to confidentiality ethics and patient rights.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams prior to start
Proficiency in IV administration ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
Preferred:
De-escalation Certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
