Yarra City Council is seeking a dynamic experienced Senior Engagement Lead to join our Digital and Technology Services team. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation foster innovation and deliver outstanding IT solutions that support our vibrant diverse community.

About the Role

As Senior Engagement Lead you will:

Act as the strategic link between business and technology ensuring IT solutions drive organisational growth and success.
Lead and manage relationships with business leaders internal teams and external partners.
Oversee a variety of IT projects ensuring timely on-budget delivery aligned with business needs.
Champion service excellence continuous improvement and agile ways of working.
Provide expert advice on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Manage budgets risks and vendor relationships to optimise service delivery.

What Youll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in Business Analytics Information Technology Project Management or a related discipline.
Experience in ITIL/ITSM processes and driving service initiatives.
Proven track record in project management organisational change and continuous improvement.
Strong leadership negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and advocate for customer-centric IT initiatives.
Experience in local government or complex organisational environments is highly regarded.
