Job Summary

The Executive Casino Host is responsible for developing and coordinating programs to attract high-limit players and host such guests to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visits.  The Executive Casino Host is called upon to interact frequently with high-limit customers and make decisions regarding extensions of large sums of money and complimentary services and/or goods.

The Executive Casino Host:

  • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to have Belterra Casino Resort as their casino of choice; responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acts as a mentor to employees in order to provide superior customer service.
  • Provides develops and focuses on the acquisition of high-end players within the local and external market cultivates and develops groups with potential gaming profiles assuring continued growth of the customer database market.
  • Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategies and programs to cultivate the market for new and existing high-limit casino guests.
  • Monitors existing high-limit guest programs and develops knowledge of customer betting habits credit situations and levels of participation in order to manage programs to ensure maximum profit margins adequate play levels and appropriate cost control; awards customer complimentary services and/or goods based on gaming action and program guidelines.
  • Coordinates guestrooms meals and show reservations and assists guests with questions and special request to ensure coordinator of guests needs to provide their maximum convenience and comfort.
  • Understands and monitors department objectives standards guidelines and budget to ensure proper supervision of department.
  • Works with various customer contact departments to develop and implement strategies and programs to cultivate the market for new and existing high-limit casino guests.
  • Organize special functions (parties tournaments etc.) and participate in telemarketing efforts to invite customers to special events individual visits and/or obtain feedback on customer satisfaction.
  • Incumbent is not permitted to accept gratuities.

Qualifications :

  • Ability to use all equipment associate with the position including player-tracking system AS400 computer keyboard and telephone.
  • Ability to review and comprehend player tracking screens reports and all other necessary information and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
  • Ability to observe and direct actions of subordinates.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas.
  • Flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
  • This position operates in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds noise and smoke the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all casino gaming as well as regular high-limit customers and their betting habits in order to make knowledgeable decisions regarding credit extensions. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in order to understand and meet the needs of preferred customers. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make decisions regarding credit limits.
  • Ability to network and establish relationships with individual prospective customers and groups that display and demonstrate potential gaming value.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal State and Gaming regulations.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through Bachelors Degree in Business or Liberal Arts and a minimum of two years progressive casino customer contact experience with at least one year in a casino service role administering a player-tracking system; or through a high school education or equivalent and three years progressive casino services in a development role administering a player-tracking system.
