Intern Data Science (Studying Bachelor Degree)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on a project-based assignment focused on developing Spotfire analysis prototypes using data available in Redshift with the goal of creating AI-assisted prediction models for selected products and/or factory KPIs
• Support the development of the lights-out departments measurement tools by leveraging parameter big data modeling to enable predictive prescriptive and diagnostic analytics.
• Assist in collecting cleaning and preprocessing large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis
• Support the development and testing of machine learning models under the guidance of senior data scientists.
• Help create and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Spotfire to effectively communicate results to stakeholders.
• Document analysis processes methodologies and findings to ensure knowledge sharing within the team
• Research and present emerging data science tools techniques and best practices that could improve current systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and operations to translate business needs into analytical solutions

Qualifications :

REQUIRED:

• Pursuing a bachelors in Software Engineering Computer Engineering/Science Data science Digital Engineering Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Engineering or a related field
• Internship student in the cooperative education program (CWIE) is required to have an internship period of at least 4-6 months

SKILLS:

• Experience in machine learning & AI project
• Skills in SQL Python and R for custom analysis and data visualization
• Skills in Project Management
• Knowledge in Statistical Analysis
• Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency
