Job Summary
Role summary:
The Laboratory Officer will be responsible for performing mix design daily for new admixtures and render technical support to customers.
General Responsibilities:
- Performs concrete mix trials for new admixtures
- Testing logging & reporting of test results
- Assist in formulating new product in the R&D and follow up on daily development of new product
- Support customers with technical issues on site
- Assist with resolution of customer complaints
- Support the sales team in training of customers applicators or distributors
- Support the QC officer in achieving the daily routine QC testing
- Ensure safe work practices handling of chemicals and EHS principles are adhered to in all aspects of lab activities
Qualifications :
Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years of concrete testing experience
- Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Knowledge of construction chemicals
- Proficient in use of MS Office suites
- Experience in the use of an ERP (SAP preferred)
