Job Summary
This role is based in our 5 Howick Place London office.
What were looking for
- We are looking for a Video Editor to join our internal video production arm at Informa Festivals in our London office. The ideal candidate has a great sense of storytelling through moving image and experience working with templated and generated graphics
- The video editor will be responsible for editing a variety of scripted video productions event coverage and creative video projects (shot in our in-house studio) across a dynamic range of event types and industries.
Candidates that do not provide a link to an edited showreel will not be considered.
What youll do
- Edit various types of video including interviews series formats online courses sizzle reels content optimized for social media and event footage
- Source stock music and stock footage when requested
- Create assets with After Effects to support edited footage
- Organize and edit footage for post-production as well as archiving
- Support the development of new video series for our brands pitching ideas and researching the latest trends in video and social media
- Work with global brands and international teams
Qualifications :
Who you are:
- A creative individual who can bring ideas to the table and is aware of the latest trends
- Able to translate concepts and treatments into video
- An organized self-starter who is adept at problem-solving
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience editing video content in a professional environment
- You have strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects and the workflow between them
- You have an awareness of sound design
- Experienced in managing different aspect ratios format codecs outputs etc.
- You are interested in developing a workflow with Generative AI usage to speed up the editing process
- You are experienced in managing software formats codecs outputs etc.
