About the Role
Babcock is seeking a highly skilled and trusted Security professional to take on the critical role of Security Lead (COMSECO) as designated by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD). This is a unique opportunity to lead the organisations COMSEC and high-security operations ensuring the integrity and protection of sensitive cryptographic materials across our defence programs.
In this role youll be responsible for developing and maintaining COMSEC Security Practices and Procedures in line with ACSI standards managing access controls coordinating with CASG for secure equipment procurement and leading briefings and debriefings for personnel with cryptographic access. Youll also oversee reporting compliance and physical safeguards to ensure strict adherence to national security protocols.
Beyond COMSEC youll play a key role in broader high-security initiatives including EMSEC physical security planning and supporting bid development and execution. Youll work closely with internal and external stakeholders contribute to continuous improvement and help foster a culture of safety and security across the organisation.
