- To lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface
- Developing working relationships problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Managing the design process to achieve the clients requirements and manage expectations
- Reviewing project plans and specifications scheduling costs saving measures discrepancies potential construction problems etc
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
- Managing project timelines risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track
- Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives
- Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery
- Contract Execution: Drafting contract documents in strict accordance with legal approved contract templates. Working closely with project team/s to ensure effective and timely document processing and management of contract documents
- Bring strong communication conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Qualifications :
- Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure HVAC Electrical Generators Fire Security and BMS
- Professional/tertiary qualification in project management engineering or construction
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years project management experience preferably gained within a Data Centre or similar technical environment.
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle from project inception stage design authority approvals through to construction completion and post-project review
- Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts tools and techniques
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure fast paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
