Job Summary
People Advisory Services EMS
People Advisory Services - Engagement Management Services Team in EY is responsible for providing key operational support to the Tax and Accounting practices which EY provides to its multinational clients.
EMS offers the ease of managing clients (also referred to as Engagements within EY) in the following manner:
- Providing Operations management support on complex regulatory affairs across multiple jurisdiction.
- Managing the end to end Engagement lifecycle management process and reporting standards.
- Providing project management support and controlling the cost of managing compliance across various regions/countries.
- Responsible for ensuring smooth delivery as per agreed SLAs.
Globally tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations. A central team of EMS members work with this global network of EY professionals to ensure clients compliance and reporting obligations across the globe are met on time. The EMS team manages the engagement together with the tax and accounting practices operating from local offices in Americas EMEIA and APAC.
The opportunity
The job holder will work on several client accounts/ engagements where they will be involved in delivering all service management aspects of multi- national engagement.
Specific activities
Execution of the full scope of activities associated with the Assignee Life Cycle including but not restricted to:
- Client initiations meeting coordination and communications
- Organizing annual EY site visits or country calls etc.
- Document collection and review
- Billing
- Writing internal & external communications
- Ensure adherence to EYs risk management protocols
- Deliver on accuracy attention to detail and timeliness in tasks
- Own accountability for performance and quality metrics; SLA/KPI reports client reporting escalations utilisation and performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve quality business performance and process efficiency.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects including research project management and data collection activities as required.
Requirements
- Advanced students or graduates in Business Administration Commerce Project management professionals will be preferred.
- Fluent in English (The position requires to speak English daily).
- No previous experience needed but it is considered an added advantage.
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to quality control and risk management processes
- Ability to manage high volume in a high-pressure environment
- Proven administrative and organizational skills
Skills and attributes to qualify for the role
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Management or Economics (Preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to change and operational tools
