Operations (Production) Specialist

Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Manager the Operations Specialist will assist in coordinating day to day tasks and activities for the operations department(s).

Description:

• Responsible for the accurate and timely input maintenance filing and reporting of all employee data including Dimensions/Kronos system and training matrix.
• Coordinate timecards regarding accuracy approvals and coordinating use of PTO.
• Scheduling and coordination of training which will include the maintenance of the training matrix.
• Responsible for badge changes and updates including the Fastenal Machine.
• Provide support for quarterly pizza meetings town hall meetings and other plant events
• Create and maintain communication as requested (print and electronic) for events reminders and other employee relation activities.
• Assist with annual and compliance training courses utilizing the Workday system and supporting the hourly employee group.
• Maintain operation work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate or undergraduate degree in applicable field preferred.
• Prior administrative operations experience in a manufacturing environment ideal.
• Effective communication written and verbal with all levels of stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel Word and PowerPoint).
• Prior Workday and Kronos timekeeping experience desired.

Position Details:

• Full-Time non-exempt position. Preferred core hours to be 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Typical workweek is Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts. Overtime may be required.
• Position is on-site at the plant.
• Position reports to the Production Manager.
