Aerojet Rocketdyne a L3Harris segmentis a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to its space missile defense and strategic tactical missile and armaments customers throughout domestic and international markets. We offer a complete line of propulsion products for launch vehicles missile defense and advanced hypersonic propulsion. At this location produce and develop a variety of energetic assemblies for rocket propulsion.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Engineer with a background in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Engineering or any other engineering discipline to join our Manufacturing Strategy and Growth team located in Huntsville Alabama. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a real-world manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a creative individual with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design definition and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems to meet complex company initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency product quality and cost-effectiveness.
Utilize engineering principles from aerospace mechanical and computer engineering to solve complex manufacturing challenges.
Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new manufacturing technologies techniques and modern solutions.
Participate in the creation and implementation of process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing transition issues to ensure smooth production operations and to meet critical timelines.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation including process flow diagrams work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Support the implementation of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Masters Degree in engineering or have completed their Masters degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.
