Were looking for Strong AWS Cloud Native Architect at EY GDS. You will design build and deploy robust cloud-native AWS solutions that align with enterprise standards and drive strategic business outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with application developers and enterprise architects to deliver scalable and secure cloud architecture. Your key responsibilities

AWS Cloud Native Design

• Architect highly scalable resilient secure and cost-optimized cloud-native applications tailored to evolving business needs.
• Design microservices serverless and containerized architectures leveraging core AWS services including EC2 Lambda ECS/EKS RDS and S3 to maximize flexibility and efficiency.
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework principles to ensure operational excellence security reliability performance efficiency cost management and sustainability across all solutions.
• Strategically plan application migrations and modernizations with seamless integration into existing enterprise ecosystems minimizing disruption and accelerating cloud adoption.

Infrastructure as Code and Automation

• Develop maintain and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using AWS CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK to automate and standardize provisioning of AWS infrastructure.
• Automate deployment pipelines to guarantee consistency repeatability and version-controlled infrastructure across development testing and production environments.
• Embed security and compliance best practices directly into IaC scripts to enable continuous governance and risk mitigation.

DevSecOps and CI/CD

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines that automate builds testing security scans deployments and monitoring within AWS environments.
• Collaborate closely with security teams to integrate vulnerability detection compliance checks and remediation processes into continuous delivery workflows.
• Continuously monitor evaluate and optimize automated deployment processes to ensure reliability scalability and efficiency.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

• Partner with application developers enterprise architects security teams and business stakeholders to accurately capture requirements and deliver aligned future-proof cloud solutions.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex AWS architecture and operational challenges ensuring timely resolution and knowledge sharing.
• Actively participate in architecture reviews knowledge transfer sessions and the propagation of AWS best practices across teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date expertise on the latest AWS services features and industry trends proactively applying innovations to enhance platform capabilities.

Skills and attributes for success

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification (mandatory); AWS Solutions Architect Professional (preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years hands-on experience in design scalable resilient secure and cost-optimized cloud-native solutions using architectural best practices including the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Strong experience with AWS services including EC2 Lambda S3 RDS VPC IAM CloudFormation and container orchestration services like ECS/EKS
• Skilled in automating infrastructure deployments and updates with tools like CloudFormation Terraform or AWS CDK to ensure consistency repeatability and compliance.
• Experience building and managing secure automated CI/CD pipelines that integrate testing security scans and deployment in AWS environments
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with developers architects security teams and business stakeholders translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to integrate GenAI capabilities into cloud-native solutions to drive automation improve decision-making and enhance user experiences.
• Proficiency in observability tools SRE practices and automation to enhance system reliability.
• Dedication to staying current with evolving AWS services industry trends and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AWS AI/ML services including SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Experience with enterprise migration projects and modernization initiatives is a plus.
• Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure Google Cloud) and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures is advantageous.

Education:

• Degree: Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience
