About the role
We are currently seeking Project Managers to join the Greater Sydney Region team working in the Parramatta Office. NSW Public Works is a division of the Department of Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). This role is office based but you will be making regular site inspections. The role is working on the client-side and being responsible for delivering one or more construction projects of low or medium risk and complexity. Alternatively you may be assigned to a team managing the delivery of highly complex projects.
As a NSW Public Works Project Manager you will be expected to manage and contribute to the planning and delivery of building and civil infrastructure projects and ensure time cost quality safety and environment targets and corporate expectations are met. Our Project Managers are responsible for the management and administration of contracts including claims evaluation and negotiation.
The role provides an exciting chance to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and participate in business development activities contributing towards opportunities for repeat and new business.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience of project management delivering construction contracts or managing design consultants.
