Training Manager

Were seeking an enthusiastic Training Managerto join our dedicated Disability Operations Team. This role focuses on developing and overseeing the delivery of training solutions that address the requirements of the workforce within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Portfolio.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As aTraining Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and supervisinga team of Workplace Trainers. You will be required to develop and oversee the delivery of training solutions that address the requirements of the workforce.

You will oversee the ongoing development and delivery of training services within the program area. This includes the delivery and oversight of induction as well as other required training that supports the Disability Services Portfolio. This position will provide flexible high-quality training and assessment services that are relevant fair inclusive and meet the needs of both the NDIA and any other relevant training quality standards.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have:

  • A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent
  • Relevant qualification in disability sector or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • Prior experience in managing and supporting teams
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally externally and with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with and supporting disadvantaged staff particularly people with a disability

    4. Training Qualification Commitment: If your training qualification is not in adult education (e.g. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent) please describe how you will commit to obtaining a suitable qualification within your first year in the role.
