Job Summary
The RN Mentor is a seasoned registered nurse who imparts clinical wisdom professional judgment and emotional support to nurses new to practice. Through both individual and group mentoring the RN Mentor strengthens clinical reasoning confidence and professional identity formation during the transition-to-practice period.
This role provides experienced nurses with an opportunity to remain active contributors to the profession by supporting organizational priorities related to safety quality engagement and nurse retention.
