We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Planning Analyst in Lafeyette IN.

PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts integrated logistics and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.

Job Summary:

• The Planning Analyst provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for operational management activities.

Additional Info:

• This role will be based in Lafeyette IN initially and will transition to Lebanon IN in the future. Relocation assistance is not available.
• This role is 1st shift
• This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
• This role requires up to 10% domestic travel

What You Will Do:

• Assisting in communicating with procurement material planning inventory distribution to minimize cost and improve efficiency.
• Providing technical support and assistance on operational management.
• Inputting data into supply chain application system; maintaining the system on a regular basis.
• Collecting analyzing and reporting data on supply chain operation.

What You Have (Required Skills):

• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand predict and control the movement of goods materials and supplies.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Summary Pay Range:
