A system architects job scope involves designing implementing and overseeing complex computer and network systems to meet an organizations technical and business needs. This includes analyzing requirements creating architectural plans selecting hardware and software and ensuring all components work together seamlessly securely and efficiently. Their responsibilities also cover system maintenance upgrades and the creation of documentation and disaster recovery plans.
Responsibilities
System designand development:
Creating high-level architectural plans for IT systems including hardware software firewall networking and data storage. They ensure designs are scalable secure and align with industry best practices.
Requirements analysis:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements to translate them into system specifications.
Technology selection:
Evaluating and recommending appropriate hardware software and other technologies based on organizational needs budget and strategic goals.
Implementation oversight:
Guiding the implementation process to ensure the system is built according to the architectural plan.
System maintenance and optimization:
Maintaining existing systems planning for upgrades and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation:
Creating comprehensive documentation for the system architecture including design plans and specifications.
Risk management:
Developing plans for system backups and responding to system crashes.
Essential Qualification
- A strong background in computer science networking databases and various technologies is crucia
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical teams business leaders and other stakeholders is essential.
- Analyzing complex problems diagnosing issues and creating effective solutions is a core part of the role.
- Understanding an organizations goals challenges and workflows to design systems that support business objectives.
- Understanding of Cloud and Virtualization solution such as Huawei Cloud HyperV etc.
