THE POSITION
The Janitor assists in the day to day cleaning of assigned areas of RISEs buildings including special projects. The Janitor also supports other departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize common areas of the facility including the following areas:
- Restrooms
- Breakrooms
- Kitchen Area
- Windows (inside and outside)
- Tables & Chairs
- Phones
- Common Areas
- Offices
- Ensure facility is closed and locked properly when leaving facility
- Request supplies when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years old
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and interdependently
