American Textile Company wants to put an end to sneezing and snuffling, at least at bedtime. The family-run company manufactures protective and allergen barrier bedding products such as mattress and pillow covers, pillows, and mattress pads. Brands include Aller-Ease for asthma and allergy sufferers, DermaTherapy for sensitive skin, and Cool Sensations to help with night sweats. Customers include Kohl's, Sears, and Wal-Mart, in the US and Canada. American Textile has three manufacturing and distribution facilities in the US and a production plant in South America. The company was formed in 1925 to sell household products, including one of the first ironing board covers.
