Global Pricing Sr. Analyst

As a Global Pricing Sr. Analyst supporting the Global Pricing team you will be responsible for developing franchise pricing strategies for current and future products. Develop holistic value-based pricing strategies with input from quantitative and qualitative pricing research and Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Lead Strategic Development of Alcons Pricing Technology Ecosystem including Quoting Tender Management and Price Optimization applications. Manage Global Pricing Policies guidelines and review Regional Annual Price Update Plans. Provide regional input into Global Pricing Initiatives. Review Country bid proposals determines compliance conflicts and prepare recommendations escalate to Global Pricing when required by Global Pricing Policy

In this role a typical day will include:

• Support global pricing optimization initiatives including OPTIVISION master data management.
  • Maintain documentation of system integration entities
  • Ensure quality data supports pricing functionality requirements
  • Support Users of OPTIVISION data questions; understand data sources behind use cases.
  • Diagnose root cause of data challenges; identify risks proactively.
  • Navigate source systems to enhance integrity of OPTIVISION master data.
  • Engage in cross-functional discussions to enhance and optimize pricing workflows.

• Support Global Pricing Governance tool NAVLIN:
  • Maintain Global Price Governance System including Manage User licenses permissions and training/support adding new products global floors exchange rates
  • Support annual and ongoing updates to price guideline database and USD Global Floor Guidelines.
  • Support reporting needs including system reports & process documentation
  • Support reporting needs such as building system reports & process documentation

• Support Pricing Performance Insights:
  • Consolidate necessary data from different systems (ASPIRE APMR SAP CPQ PricePRO etc.) to inform pricing dashboards in Tableau.
  • Support global pricing team and product teams ad-hoc requests for pricing insights.
  • Develop visualizations & charts (Tableau and Excel) including customer level data.

• Support Pricing Strategy and Process Improvement Development:
  • Complete ad hoc analyses to support new product pricing (Alcon data market insights)
  • Support price performance KPIs for product launches
  • Facilitate ad hoc reviews of price performance

• Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this role will be measured)
  • Pricing master data quality
  • OPTIVISION data entity quality maintenance & documentation (master data integration)
  • Accurate & timely pricing ad hoc analysis
  • Global Pricing Management tool data integrity

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education: Bachelors degree in business Accounting Finance IT or related field
• Advanced level of English
• 3 years of experience in pricing analytics finance or related field
• Visualization tool- data ingestion and developer experienced (Tableau developer)
• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Financial Data Warehouse/Business Analysis experience- AWS SAP/BI
• Currencies and FX translation
• Additional Skills desirable: SQL AWS Global Pricing Management Software Alteryx applications.
