The Role & What You Will Be Doing

OTC Analyst is responsible for the continuous support of the OTC team in their daily operations in the areas of Cash Application Billing Collection and Credit Management and achieving their strategic initiatives.

Perform job functions in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) federal and state laws Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines health authority regulations departmental processes and ensures that all Service Level Agreements and KPIs are met.

Global Business Services (GBS) is an organization which offers services to all Viatris units. The goal is to provide scalable sustainable and streamlined service delivery.

From a shared service concept the employee executes services as agreed with the GBS customers.

Position plays a key role in supporting processes and procedures compliance and driving continuous process improvement.

Every day we rise to the challenge to make a difference and heres how the OTC Analyst role will make an impact:

• Cash Application & Billing
• Perform customer-related bank bookings (automatic/manual clearing issue resolution reporting)
• Handle invoicing (credit debit reversal FI SD for intercompany and third-party customers)
• Support reconciliation and remittance investigations
• Collections
• Contact third-party customers via phone and email
• Execute dunning and statement procedures
• Manage dispute resolution and aged debt reporting
• Maintain collection files and ensure compliance with procedures
• Credit & Insurance Management
• Assess and maintain credit limits and risk categories
• Manage blocked orders and order releases
• Support month-end reporting (bad debt insurance)
• Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure adherence to SOPs internal controls and audit requirements
• Support KPI and CTQ reporting
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
• Collaboration
• Work closely with Master Data Procurement Treasury Accounts Payable Indirect Tax and other teams
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Viatris

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role were looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications skills and experiences:

• Education & Experience
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and 13 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of SAP required; Six Sigma is an advantage
• Skills
• Strong accounting knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Detail-oriented precise and able to multitask in an international environment
• Fluency in English and C1/C2 level Italian
• Other Requirements
• Ability to interpret complex business documents and prepare detailed reports
• Problem-solving skills with independent judgment
• Comfortable working in a hybrid model; occasional travel may be required
