AutoCAD Technician with drafting experience - Houston TX

What are we looking for

The AutoCAD Technician with drafting experienceis responsible for supporting the Industry Services business by working in conjunction with engineers and inspectors to create technical drawings for various projects based in our Houston TX location. This is a P/T casual position.

Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience qualifications and other job-related reasons.

What youll do:

• Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software based on rough sketches and/or specifications provided by engineers or inspectors
• Update & modify drawings based on feedback and project changes
• Collaborating with engineers architects and team members to ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
• Ensuring all drawings follow industry standards codes and regulations.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of AutoCAD software and how to use it for drafting and design.
• Ability to create very detailed and accurate drawings.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Efficiently manage time and meet deadlines.
• Valid TWIC card

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3 years experience in the oil & gas refinery industry
• Excellent focus on detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
• Relevant certification in CAD drafting
