Hours: Monday - Friday Full Time
Pay: $17 per hour
About Us
- Create and maintain a safe caring and developmentally supportive classroom environment for toddlers.
- Use The Learning Experiences play-based curriculum to introduce language early social skills motor skills and problem-solving.
- Encourage positive peer interactions and emotional development through gentle guidance and modeling.
- Communicate daily with families to share routines progress and learning moments.
- Work collaboratively with teaching teammates and center management to ensure classroom quality and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with daily care routines including snacks/meals diapering/toileting transitions and rest.
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in a childcare daycare preschool or similar setting (1 year preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus (or willingness to pursue).
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practice.
- CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Meets New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
