Haven Homes a Cassia community is hiring a self-motivated energeticFlex Cook to join our culinary team! This unique position offers a consistent schedule and the opportunity to pick up extra hours as needed for vacation coverage. As a Flex Cook at Haven Homes you will help prepare and serve delicious home-style meals for residents while ensuring a clean organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate enjoys variety teamwork and making a difference through great food and service. Position Type:Part-Time Flex
Shifts Available: Every other Weekend and Every other Wednesday with additional hours available to cover for vacations and leave of absences.
Hours: 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
Wage Range: $17.74 to $21.70 / hour depending on experience.

Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Assist with food preparation forresidents.
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Assist residents employees and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Cook Qualifications:
- 1 years of commercial cooking experience required.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills.
