The centers current scope of work includes behavioral health health & health care financing health in all policies health systems transformation long-term services & support maternal health & child well-being population & global health and rural health. The center conducts analyzes and disseminates qualitative and quantitative research to connect decision-makers with the objective research and guidance needed to make informed decisions about health policy and programs. The center is at work locally nationally and internationally with public and private partners to improve health and well-being.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
The SRA is a lead member of the Atlanta Regional Collaborative for Health Improvement (ARCHI) team providing project management research and analysis and partner and fund development to support key elements of ARCHIs Invert the Burden Strategy. ARCHI is a collaborative of 110 partner organizations with a shared 28-year commitment to improving health in metro Atlanta. ARCHI is housed inside GHPC with seven dedicated staff guiding the work of the collaborative. ARCHI supports this commitment by facilitating systems change across a wide range of sectors and policy areas while designing and implementing prototypes to test and refine innovations in the way care is delivered and financed for those Atlantans most impacted by the historic and pervasive gaps in opportunity to achieve optimal health and well-being in the is an Atlanta-based position.
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Applicants must be extremely organized and possess strong project management evaluation partner and resource development research and writing skills including the ability to successfully schedule manage and coordinate work products deadlines meetings and deliverables.
Project Management
Manages existing projects and develops new business opportunities to implement ARCHIs Invert the Burden Strategy.
Builds strong relationships with project stakeholders.
Manages relevant grants and contracts.
Evaluates project progress and outcomes evaluation.
Develops and edits evaluation planning tools such as logic models and evaluation plans.
Provides technical assistance and training to subgrantees on how to use data collection tools.
Develop and implement data collection instruments (e.g. Qualtrics surveys key informant interview guides etc. and conduct data analysis and reporting of results for key ARCHI grants and projects.
Coordinates with GHPC information technology and evaluation staff to submit IRB requests and plan for secure data storage and transfer using GSU systems.
Partner and Resource Development
Facilitates the development of partners and partnerships including new partner onboardingscheduling and facilitation of partner meetings understanding individual partner incentives and developing a cohesive strategy to maintain momentum throughout the life of the project.
Serves as a team member for proposal development-- developing and editing proposals for an array of philanthropic business and governmental funders.
Writes reports abstracts briefing papers presentations etc. to support individual projects and the overall ARCHI strategy.
Builds relationships with external stakeholders (e.g. ARCHI Steering Committee members community leaders and residents).
Recruits new members for the Community Resource Hub.
Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Project management including budget management.
Program evaluation and research design including qualitative and quantitative analytic skills.
Knowledge of health systems care coordination and community health worker programs.
Writing and reporting skills.
Presentation Skills.
Experience in navigating the IRB process and data security best practices.
Networking skills and aptitude for representing ARCHI with local state and national organizations.
Ability to initiate new and strategic relationships to support ARCHI projects; comfortable working with residents and community leaders.
Flexibility to shift priorities address ad-hoc requests and manage ambiguity.
Effective time management and organizational skills(e.g. ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask pay attention to detail and exhibit excellent customer service.
Effective oral and verbal communication with external and internal customers.
Must be a self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment.
The salary range for this position is $71400 - $89250.

Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. with two years of experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
Experience with IRB (institutional Review Board) processes and procedures data security best practices and vetting data systems.
Knowledge of collective impact practices and health and racial equity is critical.
Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
