KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Define comprehensive SEO strategy for achieving long term traffic goals
- Create a learning environment training modules reviews and appraisals.
- Own SEO targets planning budget and resource forecasting.
- Point of contact for brand owners including escalation of issues within the SEO Team
- Identification of potential risks in SEO strategies and future proofing
- Drive/ Conduct keyword research and Collaborate with SEM team for keyword research and complementary campaigns
- Ensure documentation (playbook) of SEO best practices process and delivery modules.
- Undertake constant benchmarking & SEO landscape mapping
- Research analyze and benchmark against competitor performance
- Test key landing pages to optimize conversion rates
- Monitor search rankings of the key landing pages and quantify progress
- Keep abreast of the changing search landscape for continuous increases in SEO metrics
- Drive purpose oriented Content Strategy & a comprehensive Online PR strategy
- Finalize the content architecture to facilitate the SEO strategy
- Partner content teams with SEO inputs to create content specific to business needs
- Assume complete responsibility of outreach / link building for content
- Optimize links in earned coverage help PR team optimize the links in earned media coverage things like company press releases or non-paid stories.
- Manage Influencer outreach by developing an engagement map with PR team spanning relationship with mass media outlets & bloggers/ SME relationships
- Drive a cohesive content sharing & amplification strategy
4. Technical SEO - Establish technical specifications for the pages that are part of the SEO plan
- Determine the internal linking scheme to optimize SEO impact
- Pursue indexation of the key landing pages
- Manage aspects including structured data canonicals noindex tags Latency drive optimization interventions including but not limited to Image optimization compression minification browser caching track and address landing page redirects
- SEO Analytics
- Create and maintain SEO performance dashboard to provide visibility
- Perform regular multi-channel Integrated analysis (traffic conversion market share ranking)
- CRO & UX - understanding of methods tools and implementation.
- Implement site analytics to create the insight pool for SEP optimisation (event tracking consumer action tracking attribution)
- Review and analyze analytics and site traffic to gauge positive and negative changes
- Manage Digital agencies & Partners
- Manage multiple digital agencies partners to deliver a seamless unified deployment in line with business objectives;
