Join our Perception team to industrialize sophisticated low-level perception algorithms for our next generation of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). At BMW TechWorks India we are shaping the future of autonomous driving by developing cutting-edge perception functions. As an Embedded Perception Engineer you will be involved in all phases of developmentfrom prototyping and data preparation to implementation testing and deployment of deep learning models on embedded platforms.

Youll work in an international interdisciplinary environment with an agile mindset. Our campus provides the cloud infrastructure and embedded hardware platforms needed to process large-scale sensor data and deploy high-performance software for the automobile of the future.

What should you bring along

Strong programming skills in C and Python with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
Experience in deployment strategies for embedded systems including model optimization quantization and runtime performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch ONNX or Keras.
Solid foundation in computer vision machine learning and deep learning principles.
Practical experience in implementing models for:
- Image classification
- Object detection
- Semantic segmentation
- Monocular depth estimation
- Multi-task and multi-modal neural networks
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies for ML models.
Excellent communication skills in English with strong analytical and logical thinking.

Optional / A Plus:

Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Knowledge of OpenCL CUDA and custom kernel development.
Exposure to 3D reconstruction and scene understanding (e.g. Neural Radiance Fields Gaussian Splatting).
Experience in sensor fusion and algorithm development using data from cameras RADAR and LiDAR.
Understanding of real-time constraints and optimization for embedded automotive platforms.
