Job Summary

As an Elevator/Escalator New Maintenance Sales Executive you will proactively identify and develop new customer relationships manage opportunities with new customers and sell profitable service contracts.

This position is entirely new business sales. You do not need to have previous experience in the lifts and escalators industry. This role would particularly suit someone who can sell with confidence and maturity is digitally aware and comfortable with communicating complex information.

The role will be both office and field based with travel across the region an expectation of face-to-face meetings with potential clients. You need to be collaborative in your approach and able to influence both internal and external stakeholders at all levels as well as building sustainable customer partnerships.

This role is suited to someone who can work using their own initiative self-motivated with a desire to succeed against monthly targets.

We will allocate a region to cover the North of England and Scotland depending on your location.

Key responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Proactively develops and creates customer relationships in their areas of responsibility.
  • Accountable for developing KONE position in your customer base or market area.
  • Creates and communicates leads and sales opportunities for entire KONE sales team (e.g. cross-selling).
  • Documents the customer and contact information maintains customer data.
  • Accountable for leads opportunities orders and contracts to meet the sales targets.
  • Validates that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome including terms and conditions quality and safety.
  • Accountable for hand-over to Portfolio Managers and maintenance operations with complete and correct information.
  • Maintains full information of opportunities tasks and visits.
  • Timely and accurate reporting.
  • Some cold calling will be required.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience and results in Sales and customer relationship management.
  • Mastering customer contacts presentations and negotiations closing deals tendering process aftersales activities basic knowledge of contractual and financial terms.
  • Good IT skills CRM Salesforce (is desirable).
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
