Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor with an electrical background to join our team at Swissotel Doha Corniche Park Towers Doha. As an Engineering Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering projects managing team members and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers technicians and support staff
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency
- Oversee daily operations including work order management and project updates
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage and optimize equipment operation and maintenance schedules
- Monitor and analyze utility consumption and implement conservation measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project status performance metrics and resource allocation
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualifications :
- Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role preferably in a hotel or similar facility
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Strong project management skills and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles safety regulations and industry best practices
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to facility management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Experience with swimming pool equipment operation and water treatment (preferred)
- Familiarity with chiller systems and utility management (preferred)
