Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing EMEA Finance Team. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records supporting monthly close activities and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare record and review all monthly accountng transactions
Responsible for the end-to-end monthly and yearly accounting close
Issue and record customer invoices
Support the month-end and year-end closing process
Coordinating the proper filings of accounting records
Manage intercompany transactions and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist in implementing financial controls and process improvements.
Provide financial support and analysis to regional management and external auditors and accountants
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Professional qualification (ACCA ACA CPA or equivalent) preferred.
5 years of accounting experience ideally within a multinational company or shared service center.
Payroll Processing Experience a plus
Business trip settlements experience is a plus
Understanding of generally accepted accounting principals in the EMEA region at least one local GAAP (e.g. UK German Poland).
ERP system skills (Oracle or NetSuite preferred).
Ability to communicate in spoken and written English;
Strong attention to detail and proactiveness
