As a Shift Supervisor at IPL you will:

Leadership & Team Management:

• Supervise and direct production team members including leads full-time and temporary employees.
• Assign daily tasks monitor performance provide feedback and conduct performance reviews.
• Address employee issues resolve conflicts and promote a positive and respectful work environment.
• Train and onboard new employees ensuring they are knowledgeable about processes equipment and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records including timekeeping attendance and training documentation.

Production & Inventory Oversight:

• Monitor production schedules and ensure the timely completion of orders.
• Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Monitor and control scrap rates in InTouch implementing corrective actions to reduce waste.
• Accurately complete production reports including output downtime and scrap data.
• Review Shop Orders for accuracy before running.
• Investigate errors Root Cause Analysis.

Quality Control:

• Enforce quality standards and procedures ensuring products meet specifications.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections identifying and addressing any defects.
• Collaborate with process technicians to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality checks inspections and corrective actions.
  
  

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and report generation.
