The role
We are seeking a highly organized and commercially astute Sales Operations Coordinator to support and optimize our sales function within the plastics packaging industry. This role is critical in driving operational efficiency improving sales processes and enabling the sales team to achieve strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales operations data analysis and cross-functional collaboration with specific experience in manufacturing or packaging sectors.
As a Sales Operations Coordinator at IPL you will:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the sales function.
- Develop implement and refine sales processes tools and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and enhance CRM usage and data integrity across the sales team.
- Generate and analyze sales reports forecasts and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide actionable insights to sales leadership based on data trends and performance metrics.
- Coordinate pricing quotations and contract management in collaboration with commercial and finance teams.
- Support the onboarding and training of new sales team members.
- Liaise with production logistics and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales and operational capabilities.
- Act as a key point of contact between sales and supply chain to manage lead times stock availability and customer expectations.
- Lead or support commercial projects such as new product launches customer segmentation and territory planning.
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelors degree in Business Sales Marketing Supply Chain or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce SAP or similar).
- Additional training or certification in sales operations project management or data analytics is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in sales operations commercial support or business analysis preferably within the plastics packaging or manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of improving sales processes and supporting high-performing sales teams
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
