We are seeking an Electrical Cabling and Interconnection Engineer to join our team. This role will involve providing technical leadership and engineering support for the design development and implementation of electrical cabling systems in Gas and Steam turbine power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in detailed electrical design interconnection engineering and stakeholder management with a passion for delivering reliable and efficient power system solutions.

Job Description:

Trilyon is hiring a highly skilled Electrical Cabling and Interconnection Engineer to support engineering activities for power plant projects involving Gas and Steam turbine generators. The Electrical Cabling and Interconnection Engineer will be responsible for preparing developing and reviewing electrical deliverables such as cable drawings interconnection diagrams and equipment layouts. This role requires close collaboration with sourcing design and service engineering teams to ensure project success from contract definition through commercial operation.

The Electrical Cabling and Interconnection Engineer will play a key role in coordinating engineering support across internal and external stakeholders ensuring technical excellence compliance with global standards and on-time delivery of engineering documentation and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support during design application and installation phases of power plant projects.
Coordinate with interfacing teams including sourcing services requisition engineering and equipment suppliers.
Lead the development and application of electrical Material Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment for Gas and Steam turbine generators.
Prepare and review electrical cabling and interconnection deliverables including cable drawings compartment interconnections and system wiring diagrams.
Partner with project and requisition management to reduce cycle times and enhance process efficiency from order definition through commercial operation.
Ensure all internal engineering and customer deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Lead discussions and provide technical expertise at customer meetings (domestic and international).
Support risk management strategies and handle hardware factory or installation issues effectively.
Interpret and implement contract requirements design practices and applicable standards.
Stay current with global electrical codes and standards (NEC ANSI IEEE IEC).
Champion cost optimization process improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

Technical & Functional Skills:

6 10 years of experience in electrical design and detailed engineering for Gas and Steam power plant projects.
Expertise in the design of electrical systems including Motor Control Centers Batteries & Compartments 52G Generator Breakers Neutral Grounding equipment AC/DC Panel Boards Transformers and Electrical Compartments.
Strong knowledge of cable sizing according to NEC standards.
Experience developing plant Single Line Diagrams and technical specifications for electrical equipment.
Skilled in reviewing supplier drawings and documentation and managing multi-stakeholder coordination.
Familiarity with reviewing customer specifications and preparing deviation lists.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Educational & Professional Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
6 10 years of relevant experience in power plant electrical design or interconnection engineering.
