- 5-10% of cases will be peds experience preferred
- Required Certifications:
- Skills required
- Must be able to do pre-op and phase I and II post op recovery.
- Able to recognize situational changes that require unanticipated interventions excellent communication able to make independent critical decisions problem-solving skills able to multi-task
- Support on the Unit:
- Charge Nurse does take assignment
- Unit secretary
- Charting System/Equipment:
- EPIC required
- Alaris
- Pyxis
- Floating:
- Will float to 2 other sites:
- Will get a phone call/text before shift to know what location and what time they will be working
- Will float on a weekly basis
- Orientation:
- 1-3 shifts based off comfort
- Scheduling:
- Can we approve time off No
- Holidays: 1 summer 1 winter
- Call:
- Every 6th weekend Friday afternoon-Monday morning
- One night per week
- 45 minutes response time
- Other notes or things you want us to check/verify
