Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with experience - ideally on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - to drive program execution across distributed teams in India and the U.S. This role blends technical depth with delivery discipline ensuring engineering projects are scoped correctly tracked efficiently and delivered with high quality.
The TPM will partner with engineering leads product managers and architects to plan prioritize and deliver complex cloud and platform initiatives on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent engineering programs - from planning and design through rollout and post-launch support.
- Collaborate closely with India and U.S. teams ensuring clear communication alignment and accountability across time zones.
- Translate technical objectives into actionable project plans with milestones dependencies and risk management strategies.
- Partner with engineering leads to define architecture milestones resource planning and technical roadmaps.
- Track progress remove roadblocks and proactively communicate risks and mitigation strategies.
- Manage sprint execution backlog grooming and cross-team coordination in an Agile / Scrum setup.
- Ensure engineering teams adhere to best practices in DevOps CI/CD cloud security and automation.
- Work with stakeholders (product operations QA infra and leadership) to maintain visibility into progress KPIs and delivery metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering delivery processes tooling and collaboration practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5 years in technical program or project management within software or cloud environments.
- understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine Cloud Storage BigQuery Pub/Sub IAM Kubernetes / GKE etc.).
- Proven experience driving engineering programs involving cloud migration modernization or platform integration.
- Strong command of Agile project management tools (Jira Confluence Asana etc.) and release management workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of collaborating across geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication presentation and technical documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through collaboration.
