Location: Porto Portugal

Salary: Basis €2000gross (paid x14) plus meal allowance: €167.86 net (paid over 11 months via meal card)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00

Relocation support: Availability of subsidised company Apartment (Room in a shared flat) with rent of 280€ (this will be deducted directly from your monthly pay)

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Team Leader to join the Shared Services Centre in this role you will lead a team of finance professionals responsible for core Finance & Accounting (F&A) operations — including Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR/O2C) and/or Record-to-Report (R2R).

You will oversee daily operations ensure accuracy and compliance drive process improvements and develop your team’s capabilities while collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supervise and mentor a team of F&A specialists ensuring service excellence within defined SLAs and KPIs.
• Oversee end-to-end F&A processes: AP AR/O2C R2R and General Ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices payments reconciliations and reporting.
• Manage escalations resolve complex issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor and report team performance against operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP SOX audit and internal control standards.
• Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5–7 years of F&A experience within SSC/GBS or corporate finance.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Experience in multi-country multi-currency operations is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of AP AR R2R and GL processes.
• ERP expertise (SAP Oracle NetSuite Workday or similar).
• Advanced Excel and experience with BI/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
