Inventory Controller Luxury Safari Lodge North West
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Inventory Controller for a prestigious luxury safari lodge based in the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the lodges stock and inventory systems ensuring all processes run efficiently and cost-effectively.
Package:
Salary: R10000 per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
Live-in position (must reside on-site while on duty)
Work cycle: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
21 days annual leave
Meals provided while on duty

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Strong computer literacy skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Experience with stock control systems and software (TallOrder preferred)
Experience with accounting software
High level of honesty integrity and determination
Ability to maintain attention to detail under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor budgets and records reviewing financial transactions to ensure all expenditures are authorised and within budget.
Ensure that company Cost of Sales (COS) standards are met and incentives are paid accordingly.
Manage stock orders in conjunction with Heads of Department to prevent overspending.
Maintain accurate stock and equipment inventories and ensure all records are up to date.
Order and purchase equipment and supplies ensuring best value through supplier comparisons.
Allocate all stock items correctly to inventory accounts.
Conduct rotational checks on high-value stock items.
Report any anomalies in stock levels or values to lodge management.
Run mid-month stock takes and manage month-end stock takes alongside department heads.
Submit all property stock takes accurately and within set deadlines.
Compile financial and inventory reports as required.
