Job Summary

Our client a global healthcare company is seeking an SAP FICO Functional Consultant with SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting Expertise to spearhead a large-scale SAP implementation roll-out and maintenance projects. The selected candidate will lead the design configuration and implementation of end-to-end solutions in the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within the SAP S/4HANA environment focusing on Group Reporting functionality. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of finance and accounting business processes a proven track record in delivering S/4HANA finance solutions and hands-on experience in SAP Group Reporting for consolidations.

Job Description:

Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the design configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules (GL AP AR Asset Accounting and Controlling) within an S/4HANA landscape
Business Process Consulting: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand finance and accounting requirements and translate them into SAP solutions that align with industry best practices
S/4HANA Integration: Ensure seamless integration between S/4HANA Finance and other SAP modules (e.g. MM SD PP) and external systems to support end-to-end business processes
Group Reporting: Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting for financial consolidation and reporting ensuring accurate consolidation processes and financial statements
Data Migration: Lead data migration activities from legacy systems to S/4HANA including data mapping cleansing and validation particularly focusing on financial data
Testing & Validation: Lead the preparation and execution of unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for FICO configurations and Group Reporting
Post Go-Live Support: Provide post-implementation support for SAP FICO and Group Reporting troubleshooting issues managing changes and delivering continuous improvements
Documentation & Training: Develop detailed functional specifications training materials and system documentation. Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption
Financial Close Optimization: Implement and enhance solutions that support financial close processes ensuring efficiency transparency and accuracy in reporting
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that financial processes comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. IFRS GAAP) and provide accurate and timely reports
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams project managers and technical consultants to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

A bachelors degree in finance accounting information technology or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO
In-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance including New General Ledger (New GL) Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) and Universal Journal
Extensive experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting for financial consolidation including configuration of group structures elimination processes and consolidated financial statements.
Expertise in Financial Accounting (GL AP AR AA) and Controlling (Cost Center Accounting Internal Orders Profit Center Accounting Product Costing) modules
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles particularly in areas of financial consolidation intercompany transactions and group accounting
Experience in data migration processes using SAP Migration Cockpit LSMW or other data transfer tools
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is highly preferred. Additional certifications in SAP FICO or Group Reporting are a plus

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and its integration with S/4HANA for advanced financial planning and reporting
Familiarity with IFRS 16 IFRS 9 and other relevant accounting standards
Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation
Previous Healthcare and Pharmaceutical experience is a plus
Experience in SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management frameworks
