Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and experienced Medical Gas Technicians to join our clients healthcare engineering and maintenance team in Riyadh. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation maintenance repair and inspection of medical gas pipeline systems and related equipment across hospitals and healthcare facilities ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission medical gas pipeline systems outlets manifolds and alarm units.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and performance testing of medical gas systems.
Diagnose and repair leaks pressure issues and component malfunctions promptly.
Maintain records of inspections repairs and system certifications as per regulatory requirements.
Ensure systems meet safety standards and hospital operational protocols.
Calibrate flowmeters pressure regulators and vacuum systems for accurate performance.
Support the installation of new hospital equipment interfaced with gas systems.
Coordinate with hospital engineering departments to minimize downtime during maintenance work.
Follow all infection control and safety guidelines during installation and maintenance operations.
Provide technical reports and documentation after service completion.
Essential Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Electrical or Biomedical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 25 years of experience in medical gas pipeline installation or maintenance.
Knowledge of MGPS (Medical Gas Pipeline System) standards e.g. HTM 02-01 or NFPA 99.
Skills Required
Strong knowledge of gas systems manifolds compressors and vacuum plants.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
Proficiency in using testing and calibration instruments.
Awareness of hospital safety and infection control standards.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
