About the Role
Trucrete Solutions Limited is seeking a highly skilled Batching Plant Operator with hands-on experience in concrete production and plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate batching mixing and delivery of high-quality concrete while maintaining optimal plant performance and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the batching plant to produce concrete according to specified mix designs.
Ensure all materials (cement aggregates water and admixtures) are loaded accurately and efficiently.
Maintain records of production quantities material usage and quality control data.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and quality standards at all times.
Coordinate with site engineers and dispatch teams to meet concrete delivery schedules.
Calibrate batching equipment and ensure all plant instruments are functioning correctly.
Supervise helpers and ensure smooth plant operation during shifts.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years proven experience operating a concrete batching plant in a reputable construction or ready-mix company.
Sound knowledge of batching systems calibration and plant maintenance procedures.
Ability to interpret mix designs and operate computerized batching systems.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and safety regulations.
Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering is an added advantage.
